The ClearWater Farm Homegrown Music Showcase on July 26th is seeking “Homegrown” singer/songwriters from all around the Lake Simcoe watershed to perform original music for an engaged audience right here on ‘The Farm’.
Conditions of Entry:
- Applications will be reviewed and evaluated by our ClearWater Farm Homegrown Showcase Selection Committee. We are searching for acts that are volume appropriate for our setting, specifically those in an acoustic rock/folk/roots/blues genre.
- Performers are encouraged to fully participate in the event, including networking and collaborating with fellow musicians and industry professionals. Performers should also be prepared to engage in impromptu workshop-style performance settings.
- Inclusion in the Music Showcase may involve your band being photographed. Images will be used for promotional purposes (may include social media) and will be preserved for administration, program development and archival purposes. As well, Artists/Performers are asked to use their social media platforms to engage in promoting the Homegrown Music Showcase
- Musicians will be required to bring their own instruments and be able to setup/tear down in a timely fashion. All equipment must meet CSA standards/certifications and be in good working condition. ClearWater Farm is not responsible for any damage to the entertainer’s equipment.
- The Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications and shall not be bound to accept any of them, and reserves the right at any time to cancel all or any part of the Music Showcase.
