Community gives the ‘thumbs up’ to a unique, accessible ClearWater Farm Barn walkway.
ClearWater Farm hosted the Georgina Waterfront Harvest Run and Open House where hundreds of runners, community leaders, parents, grandparents and kids all visited the farm for fun and learning!
During this popular event, the not for profit that runs ClearWater Farm, setup a community review session to gather feedback about the new barn’s proposed accessible entrance.
This design incorporates Georgina and Lake Simcoe history and commemorates local historic moments in English, French and Ojibwe languages. It will be a fun experiential learning opportunity for kids and their families. This effort is part of a project being partially funded through a capital grant from Ontario Trillium Foundation.
The feedback from the community will guide the final design of this project to create an outdoor experiential learning environment and unstructured play space.
Exciting! Passionnant! Minawaanigwad!
